What is MAPPA?

MAPPA

MAPPA stands for Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements.  It is a set of arrangements for supervising people in the community after they leave prison.  Anyone convicted of a violent or sexual offence will be subject to MAPPA.   For further information see our factsheet on MAPPA.
