Befriending service
"She offered me friendship and a hand to hold."
That's why we offer home visits to families of prisoners in the London area who feel alone and need someone to talk to.
Our home visitors are sympathetic, reliable, non-judgemental people who have been trained to provide this unique service.
Some families arrange to meet their visitor in a coffee bar or at our family centre rather than at home. A number of people have a regular home visitor and attend the family centre as well.
For people who live outside London, or who do not wish to have someone come to their home, we can offer regular telephone support.
The summer and half term programme of holidays and outings are open to those who are supported at home as well as to those who come to the family centre.
